The typical home in Lancaster was built in 1971, and about two in three were built before 1990. If the opener in one of those garages has never been replaced, check for the two small safety sensors near the floor. Openers made since 1993 must reverse when something is in the door's path (federal rule 16 CFR 1211). One without sensors is older than that and should be replaced.
